Up, Up & Away!!

Wow! Here I am on the airplane on my way to Georgia to see the Elder, TSC and Wiggleworm. I can't help but compare and contrast this flight from the last flight. Last time, I was going to meet a young man who I hadn't seen since he was a child. This was a young man who was married, about to go into the army, and soon to be a father. On top of that, I was going to be meeting his wife. I was one big, raw bundles of nerves, Fortunately, it all turned out well. Better than I could have hoped.

This time, I'm not the least bit nervous. I'm excited...I'm more than excited!! Since that time, I have talked to the Elder whenever I can. He will be graduating from basic tomorrow, and he is now a father. I have kept in regular contact with TSC (note to self: Get off your ass and get the unlimited text plan!!). I have grown to adore her. I can't wait to see her!!

And Wiggleworm. I get to meet my grandson. Not only do I get to meet him, but it turns out that I will be able to attend is baptism, which will be on Saturday.

I said it before and I'll say it again. I am truly blessed. These kids didn't have to welcome me into their lives - into their family...but they chose to. And for that, I am truly grateful.
